Suzette Richards-SelanoSuzette Richards-Selano is a graduate not only of The London College of Fashion where she studied Fashion Embroidery but also Central St. Martins College of Art where she obtained a degree in Knitwear Fashion Design.

Suzette's graduating menswear collection picked up the British Homestores Gala Knitwear Award in 1996 and was featured in the national press including the Times Newspaper, Girl About Town Magazine and the Voice. The collection also attracted the attention of established industry professionals such as Roland Klein, Brenda Emmanus and Ben Delisi.

Having graduated with flying colours Suzette went on to work as a quality controller with a major international chain store. However, the corporate world offers limited employment opportunities for designers of Suzette's calibre and she has branched out as an independent designer developing her own ranges.

Suzette's focus at present is children's wear while her plans for men's wear and women's wear ranges are already in the pipeline. The current collection for children from one to eight years of age includes unusual and luxurious designs in natural materials such as silk, cotton, and cashmere.

Suzette is a member of ACID the organisation combatting copying in design. Consequently all her design work is protected.

Suzette lives in West London with her two boys.
