"Selano Knitwear produces designer knitwear under the Selano Label. The designs are based on the classics of adults and children's wear developed into a modern and innovative look. Only natural yarns, imported from Italy, are used throughout the ranges. These include cotton, wool and cashmere. Products are manufactured in the north of England in the form of both machine and hand knitting. The design work is by Suzette Richards-Selano, a prize winning designer with Diplomas in Fashion Design Embroidery and Technology from the London College of Fashion and a Degree in Fashion Design Knitwear from Central, Saint Martins. The current ranges includes dresses, skirts, jumpers, cardigans, trousers, coats, jackets, hats, socks, scarves and gilets (leather/knitted). Among the ranges there will be the occasional sheepskin design. Selano offers its customers an opportunity to select from a three set colourway and a choice of finishes (buttons/zips)."
